Unibank Completes Q1 with Profit
The net profit of Unibank in the first quarter of this year amounted to 4 million 242 thousand manat.
The assets of this wealthy local financial institution by April 1 rose to 961.2 million manat (+ 13.9% YTD). The bank's loan portfolio was at 783,400,000 manat (+ 10.1%).
The deposits rose to 525 570 000 manat (+ 10.6%), of which the majority is the population's deposits - 476 620 000 manat (+ 11.5%). The liabilities also increased - up to 825,120,000 manat (+ 15.7%).
The authorized capital of the bank was at last year's level - 70 million 565.23 thousand manat and the equity - 136 million 80 thousand manat (+3.7%).
JSC Unibank was created in October 2002. Nearly two-thirds of the share capital (66.21%) belongs to individuals, the rest – to legal entities, including foreign capital (12.15% - EBRD and 6.68% - German DEG). --17D-
