Unicapital Remains on Securities Market
Unicapital increased its authorized capital to 300 thousand manat by increasing the nominal value of shares from 2 to 3 manat.
The sole shareholder of the company is Unibank, which invested 100 thousand manat in its capital on November 13. Thus, Unicapital meets the minimum requirement for charter capital required for the implementation of major statutory investment in accordancw with the law "On the Securities Market ". This requirement for investment firms shall enter into force on 1st January 2016.
In October Unicapital took the first place in the ranking of brokers in the exchange volume of corporate and government securities with the index 241.3 million manat.
Unicapital OJSC was founded in 2007 and is involved in the securities market since 2008. The company is one of the founders of the Baku Stock Exchange.
Total on the securities market in Azerbaijan there are 13 brokerage firms, some of which will cease its activities. ----08D

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance.
