USD Continues to Rise on Foreign Exchange Auction
USD rose again on the foreign exchange auction of the Central Bank today. The auction began with a rate of AZN 1.7369 and ended at AZN 1.7414 per USD.
Starting from the middle of October, USD and EUR are rising steadily, showing new records.
The vast majority of commercial banks do not sell foreign currency. The population buys dollars mainly in the black market, where the price of the dollar is 8-10 kopecks higher than the official rate. -71D-
