At the currency auction of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), the US dollar rate fell from 1.7244 to 1.7145 manat.
The auction was attended by the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan.
However, the Central Bank does not report on the volume of demand and bids at the auction.
In commercial banks, the population can sell the dollar in the range of 1.67-1.71 manat, and buy it at 1.72-1.74 manat. -71D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
