Vahid Akhmedov: Bankers have to report
The evening session of parliament on Wednesday continued the discussion of the draft budget for 2015. The MP Vahid Akhmedov upheld the subject of commercial banks which "enslaved the population." "Banks have reduced deposit insurance from 12 to 10%, and only deposits are insured up to 30,000 manat, as a result they earn 5 million manat per year. Is it for this reason we have taken the law on deposit insurance? People are angry. We must listen to the bankers’ report in parliament, and bankers to understand why they do so. Mortgage program is not valid , people stand in line for an apartment for 10-15 years, the state should adopt a program of provision of housing," said Akhmedov.
He expressed his indignation at the fact that in the new state budget the increase in the salaries of doctors and teachers will be only 0.6% from the previous amount. "The Minister of Education met and talked about this with the Minister of Finance. How they think to raise public sector wages? "asked the deputy.
He called for the acceleration of the adoption of the law on advertising, which allow the state to receive additional income of 40 million manats. "This law will make a transparent sphere."
Akhmedov said the transparency of some ministries implementing mega programs cost $ 2 billion manat. The Chamber of Accounts should restore order, he said. In his view, the decline in oil prices does not affect the execution of the state budget for 2015. "I agree that the state budget for next year is social investment," said Akhmedov.-02D-
