BAKU/08.11.13/TURAN : Bank of Azerbaijan joined the state information system of mass payments (APUS) for receiving utility payments, fines and fees.
Connect to the portal will allow bank customers to pay bills for gas, water , heating, electricity , phone, as well as fines and fees, exposed by the Traffic Police .
"At the moment we accept payment in the Office of Customer Services and branch number 3 Nizami, and in the nearest future is intended to implement the reception of services in the branches of Narimanov and Ajami," said Head of Operations Narmina Seyfullaeva .
A payer, who first contacts the bank to pay the fee payments, must have an ID card and a receipt for payment of the desired service . Employees of the bank will register a client in the system, giving it its own subscription code that needs to be remembered and used in the future , with each subsequent payment . The bank does not charge for payment of utility bills no tariffs , the payer shall pay only the amount specified in the receipt.

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN.
