WB will strengthen the competitiveness of local Agroprom
Declared a centralized tender for the project of strengthening the competitiveness of agriculture (ACIP) in Azerbaijan. The statement of the customer, the World Bank (WB), reads that the object of the contest - consulting services to ensure equity of the value chain in the agricultural business of the country.
Winner (SP) at the end of the procedure will provide services in support of the selected value chains and develop proposals for investment. The contract with the SP will take effect from September and will last until the end of November 2018.

Moreover, the World Bank plans to approve on 21 July the 6-year-old strategy of cooperation with Azerbaijan. The document will cover the 2015-2020 financial years, and will be the subject of investment projects to enhance the efficiency of public services, private sector support, access to finance, improving the business climate, infrastructure, development of roads and railways, utilities, development of human resources.
Azerbaijan is a member of the World Bank since 1992. During this period the Bank allocated for the implementation of 51 projects loans totaling $ 3.3 billion, of which 34 projects are completed, the remaining 17 – are underway. --17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
