Bakcell were able to work without spam
The subscribers to local mobile operator and provider of Internet services Bakcell were able to do without spam. According to the company, it launched a new platform on which to manage the SMS-mailing from advertisers and monitor receipt of unsolicited commercial advertisements. Now subscribers can create their own "white list" with the names of favorite stores, companies, banks or any other senders, and only get their interested advertising messages.
Sending a text message with the text STOP to the short number 5595, subscribers will be able to limit the flow of advertising SMS-messages sent to third parties. However, if you wish to receive SMS-messages from reliable sources in their opinion, subscribers will need to re-send the name of a particular shop, bank, etc. to the short number 5595.
"Most of the complaints of SMS-mailing has been associated with advertising messages. Typically, customers provide their phone numbers when purchasing products in stores or using the services of banks and other institutions. Trying to cater to the desires of our customers, we have launched a new platform that will help them to filter unwanted text messages. One of the features of the new system is to give clients the opportunity to choose the SMS-messages they want to receive," said in a statement. Bakcell company recommends that customers make use of the new platform. --17D-
