Winter University for future insurance
Azerbaijan Insurers Association (AIA) from 3 to 8 February organizes Winter University for future insurers. The event will be held in the city of Ganja.
According to the organization, the first stage of selection, which was attended by one thousand contestants, has been completed. In the second phase there will be 200 people. Hundreds of young economists will be divided into 5 teams.
In a week tour candidates will answer questions on economy, finance, insurance, and take a course of popular and special lectures. The event will give young people an incentive to leadership and self-confidence. - 17D-

Azerbaijan's state borrowings continue to increase, despite the country still benefiting from high global oil prices. The Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan reported that as of the first half of 2024, the country's state debt amounted to 25 billion manats, which corresponds to 21% of its Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
