Assets of Azerbaijan's Oil Fund increased to $56 billion in 2023

“Russneft” has withdrawn from assets in Azerbaijan. This follows from the list of affiliated companies published by “Russneft” as of the first half of 2024. According to the list of “Russneft” affiliates, they are excluded from it:

Azerbaijani gas supplies to Italy this year are projected to amount to 9.6 bcm this year, Minister Parviz Shahbazov  said yesterday at a meeting with Italian Minister of Environment and Energy Security Gilberto Piketto-Fratina in Milan.

Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov, who is on a visit to Italy, met with Alessandro Bresciani, Senior Vice President for Climate Technology Solutions at Baker Hughes. According to the press service of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, during the meeting, the company's energy transfer activities, cooperation with Azerbaijan in the field of increasing productivity and production efficiency through the use of new technologies were discussed.

Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov held meetings with Pakistani Oil Minister Musadiq Malik and CEO and General Manager of the Italian company Saipem Alessandro Puliti within the framework of the World Energy Congress, which is being held in Milan (Italy), the press service of the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan.
