Turkish Energy Minister on disagreements with the EU on gas issues

In January-June of this year, 25 billion 79.6 mcm of natural gas were produced in Azerbaijan. The share of commercial natural gas accounted for 19 billion 141.1 mcm, the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan. During the reporting period, natural gas production increased by 3.4% compared to the same period last year, and commercial gas production increased by 5.3%.

In January-June of this year, 715.3 thousand tons of gasoline were produced in Azerbaijan, by 2.1% more than the same period in 2023, the report of the  State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan. In general, in the first half of this year, the total cost of oil products production in Azerbaijan amounted to 2,459.4 million manats, by 1.9% more than in the same period in 2023.

Azerbaijan and Israel discussed projects in the field of "green energy", Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov wrote on the social network "X". He noted that at the meeting with Israeli Minister of Regional Cooperation David Amsalem, the developing cooperation in the hydrocarbon sector, projects implemented in Azerbaijan in the field of production and export of renewable energy, as well as prospects for strengthening bilateral energy ties were discussed.

Kazakhstan has not yet decided on the choice of gasification options in the north and east of the country, continues to study the conditions for the supply of Russian gas to the domestic market, the Minister of Energy of the Republic Almasadam Satkaliyev stated at a government meeting. "The Ministry is working on two options for gasification of the northern and eastern regions," he said.
