9,326 Insurance Contracts Concluded on Compulsory Real Estate Insurance in August
Baku / 14.09.17 / Turan: In August of this year, 9,326 insurance contracts on compulsory insurance of real estate were registered, the Compulsory Insurance Bureau said.
The insurance premiums collected by insurance companies under these contracts amounted to 2,080,459 manat. The subjects of insurance for 7,360 of these contracts were residential houses and apartments, while 29 others were for administrative buildings, and 1,937 were for other real estate.
Compared with the same period last year, there was a decrease in the number of contracts concluded and the volume of insurance premiums by 47% and 2%, respectively.
In the reporting period, 321 insurance contracts were also concluded on compulsory civil liability insurance of real estate operation. The number of registered contracts for compulsory individual insurance of passengers against accidents was 4.
Currently in Azerbaijan in the field of compulsory real estate insurance there are 13 insurance companies that are members of the Compulsory Insurance Bureau (OJSC Insurance Company Ateshgah, OJSC Standard Insurance, OJSC Ata Insurance, OJSC Khalg Sigorta, OJSC Pasha Sigorta, OJSC Insurance Company AXA MBASK, OJSC AzSigorta, State Insurance Commercial Company of Azerbaijan, OJSC Mega Sigorta, OJSC Ipek Yolu Sigorta, OJSC Azerbaijan Senaye Sigorta, OJSC Gala Sigorta, and OJSC Gunay Sigorta). -71D-
