Azerbaijan raised state budget surplus by 97%

In the first half of 2024, receipts to the state budget of Azerbaijan totaled AZN 18,842.9 million, and deductions from the budget AZN 16,052.1 million. This is reported by the State Statistics Committee. According to the data, this is up by 21.7% and 14.1% from the same period of 2023, respectively. As a result, a surplus of AZN 2,790.8 million was formed in the budget in January-June. This is up by 97% from a year ago.
