Azerbaijan raises its monetary base by more than 13%

As of the end of August 2024, Azerbaijan had a monetary base of 20,550 million manats. This is reported on the website of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan. According to the data, this is down by 0.9% from the end of July. Note that the monetary base in the country dropped by 1.6% as compared to the end of the last year, while over the past year it grew by 13.4%.
