Azerbaijan sharply raises transactions with national payment system

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has published an overview of digital payments for 2023. The document says that last year Azerbaijan made operations with the national payment system (NPS) for AZN 766.4 billion. This is up by 2.2 times from 2022. Recall that in 2023, the number of NPS transactions totalled 147.7 million, which is up by 51.3 percent from 2022.
