Azerbaijani banks raise assets by more than 9%

As of the end of August 2024, the Azerbaijani banks had assets worth AZN 49,567.7 million. This is stated in the banking review published by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan. According to the document, this is up by 1% from the end of July. Note that the banks' assets grew by 0.8% as compared to the end of the last year and by 9.3% over the past year.
