Azerbaijan's non-cash currency market grows by 31%

In the first quarter of 2024, transactions worth $8.9 billion were carried out in the non-cash currency market of Azerbaijan. This is stated in the "Monetary Policy Review" published by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan on the results of the quarter. According to the document, this is up by 31% from the same period of 2023. Recall that 81% of non-cash currency transactions were carried out in dollars, 19% in other currencies.
