Azerbaijan's updated consolidated budget in 2025 to amount to more than $ 28 billion

Azerbaijan decided to reduce subsidies to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in the national budget by another AZN 34.8 million in 2025.

In 2025, AZN 51.85 million is planned to be allocated from the state budget for the maintenance of Milli Majlis. This is reported in the relevant cost estimate.

It became necessary to increase expenditures on defence and national security by another AZN 159 million in the State Budget of Azerbaijan for 2025.- This was announced by Finance Minister Samir Sharifov during the discussion of the draft Law ‘On State Budget for 2025’ in the third reading at the plenary session of the Milli Majlis on 16 December.
