CBA warns of fraud
The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has warned of fraudsters who have recently been calling citizens and pretending to be employees of the organization.
The CBA claims that its employees and equally those of other banks never address cardholders with requests for card statements through phone calls, the agency said.
"We urge citizens to be attentive to cases of this type of fraud, not to respond to requests for statements on bank cards, not to share personal and confidential information with third parties," the statement said.
