"Diadem" preparing for capital gains

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) is conducting a quotation survey for voluntary (CASCO) insurance of vehicles. This is reported on the unified internet portal of public procurement.

Although for the last 2 years in Azerbaijan 4 insurance companies (‘Azsigorta’, ‘İpək Yolu Insurance’, ‘A-Qrup Insurance’ and ‘Bakı Insurance’) voluntarily left the market of compulsory insurance of civil liability of owners of motor vehicles, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) is not worried about it.

As of the end of September 2024, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan had foreign exchange reserves in the amount of $ 11,795.8 million. This is reported on the structure's website.

As of the end of June 2024 the Azerbaijani banks had liquid assets worth AZN 12.5 billion.This is stated in the semi-annual Financial Stability Report published by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
