The Central Bank did not change the dollar's rate on Monday May 8, leaving it at 1.7026 manats. The rate of the all-European currency rose from 1.8549 manat on May 4 to 1.8702 manat. In banks dollars are sold in the range of 1.6850-1.72 manats, and sold for 1.6340-1.6750 manats; Euro for 1.86-1.8979 manat, and sell for 1.7950-1.8450 manats. -71D-
