Share market in Azerbaijan decreases by 38%

Shares worth AZN 90.3 million were bought and sold in Azerbaijan in the first quarter of 2024. This was reported by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan. According to the data, this is down by 38.1% from the same period of 2023. A part of the quarterly figure of AZN 14.3 million falls on the primary market, and a part of AZN 76 million on the secondary market of shares. This is down by 67.35% and 25.6% from a year ago, respectively.
