SOFAZ Sells $ 252.2 Million in September
Baku / 02.10.17 / Turan: The State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) sold 252.2 million US dollars at currency auctions of the Central Bank in September, SOFAZ said.
In comparison with August, SOFAZ sold 13.7% less currency.
For the first nine months of 2017, SOFAZ sold currency totaling 2 billion 486.02 million USD at auctions, which is 36.5% less, compared to the same period last year.
In September 2017, the national currency strengthened against the US dollar from 1.7010 manat to 1.7002 manat. -71D-
