Anadolu Ajansı: The National Intelligence Organization (MİT) destroyed about 50 PKK facilities in the Syrian cities of Ain al-Arab, Qamishli and Amuda, where members of the high-level terrorist organization were based.
According to information obtained from security sources, MİT has established that the materials used by the organization, from clothing items to weapons, from explosives to everyday items, are produced at its enterprises in Syria.
MİT mobilized its field agents and established that the PKK's military, economic and logistical facilities were operating in the Qamishli, Amudeh and Ain al-Arab regions of Syria, masquerading as civilian institutions.
Information about the location of these objects was transmitted to the center.
After analyzing the information, MİT launched an operation and destroyed many of the organization's infrastructure facilities with precise strikes. About 50 targets were hit during the operation.
Security sources said that during the operations conducted by MİT, priority was given to preventing any damage to the civilian population and residential buildings.
The source confirmed that the targets consisting of complexes, headquarters and terrorist facilities were successfully destroyed. Security sources noted that MİT's operations have made a significant contribution to eliminating threats to border security and undermining the organization's operational capabilities and its operational objectives against Turkey.
