Switzerland cancelled sanctions against Iran
Switzerland has canceled sanctions against Iran. It did not consult with the US in this matter, reported Marc Toner, deputy press office of the US Department of States.
At the session on August 12 the Swiss government decided to lift the sanctions against Iran beginning yesterday.
The Cabinet of Ministers reported that this step was taken, because of achievement of the agreement on the Iranian nuclear program in Vienna on July 14, 2015. The government added that this is the ban on trade of precious metals with the Iranian state organizations. From now on one does not need to declare the trade operations related to petrochemistry, transportation of oil and oil products of Iran and the insurance services in this field.
