Last weekend, a "Summit on Methane and other greenhouse gases other than Carbon Dioxide" was held in Dubai as part of the COP28 events, and a number of CIS countries producing and exporting oil and gas, in particular Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan, joined the Global Commitment on Methane.
