May 2026 confirmed Azerbaijan’s determination to strengthen its position as one of Eurasia’s key energy, transport, and diplomatic hubs. Throughout the month, the country actively developed relations with the European Union, Türkiye, Central Asian states, international financial institutions, and neighboring countries, while continuing large-scale reconstruction projects in Karabakh and advancing the modernization of national infrastructure.
