4 students from Azerbaijan disappeared in the earthquake zone in Turkey
Baku/06.02.23/Turan: Four students from Azerbaijan went missing in the Turkish city of Malatya. Azerbaijani Ambassador to Turkey Rashad Mammadov announced this to AZTV channel on the evening of February 6.
According to him, the students lived in a hostel, which was completely destroyed. The search for the missing has not yielded any results yet, the ambassador said.
He did not give the names of the missing, but according to unofficial data, they are: Samir Guliyev, Gunduz Nazarzade, Shahin Veliyev and Umam Ismayilli.
As of 21:00 Baku time on Monday, the death toll in the earthquake zone amounted to 1,600 people, more than 10,000 were injured, and 3,500 houses were destroyed. -02B-
