On 6 February, 45 citizens of Azerbaijan were readmitted from Germany within the framework of the readmission agreement between Azerbaijan and the European Union. This was reported by the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan on 7 February.
Measures on socio-economic rehabilitation of these persons are being carried out, the same source said.
Since 2014, when the readmission agreement was signed, about 2,500 people returned to Azerbaijan from the European Union.
