A man who attacked the Azerbaijani embassy says he was looking for missing wife there
Baku/27.01.23/Turan: The Iranian authorities hurried to present the terrorist attack against the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran as a trick of a jealous husband. Thus, a criminal named Yasin Huseynzade, armed with a machine gun, stated during interrogation that he had come to the embassy for his wife, who allegedly came there a few days ago and did not return. An interview was arranged with the detainee for a local TV channel, where he spoke about his motives.
The Iranian Foreign Minister did not hesitate to immediately state that the reason for the attack on the embassy was family problems.
The first persons of Iran did not express condolences over this incident, and did not condemn the fact of the attack on the embassy. Also, no assessment was given to the inaction of the Iranian embassy guard, who calmly watched the attack. ---02B---
