A new earthquake in Turkey with a magnitude of 5, 6
Baku/27.02.23/Turan: A new earthquake of magnitude 5.6 occurred in the Turkish province of Malatya at noon on Monday. The epicenter of the tremors recorded at 12:04 local time.
The Turkish Emergency Management Agency (AFAD) reported that 25 houses collapsed as a result of the earthquake. Rescuers are working in the disaster zone.
The head of AFAD Yunus Sezer said that according to preliminary data, one person was killed in Malatya today, 69 were injured. The population of the city was urged not to be in the premises. ---02B---
