A total of 54.4 million dollars, earned from the export of agricultural products, has been returned to Azerbaijan.
As a result of measures taken by the Nizami, Garadag, and Binagadi district prosecutors’ offices in Baku, the funds obtained by several agricultural product exporters have been returned to the country.
The amount in question is 54.4 million US dollars (over 92.4 million manat). These funds have been returned to the country’s authorized bank account, a press release from the General Prosecutor’s Office.
The Prosecutor’s Office continues to take necessary procedural measures to return funds obtained from the export of goods and products to the authorized bank accounts of the country.
It should be noted that criminal cases have been initiated regarding the failure of certain business entities exporting various types of products to return the funds. There are individuals who have been arrested.
