Action of believers-women in front of the US Embassy
Baku / 11.12.17 / Turan: A group of believers-women held a protest on December 11 in front of the US Embassy in Baku, protesting against the recognition by the US President of Jerusalem of the capital of Israel. The action was organized by the Women's Council of the Islamic Party of Azerbaijan and the Public Association of Soldiers' Mothers.
An eyewitness of the action, journalist Arzu Abdullah, reported that 20 women took part in the action, which lasted about twenty minutes. Participants held posters with slogans: "Stop terrorism", "Karabakh and Guds (Jerusalem) - Muslim lands."
They condemned Trump's actions and expressed solidarity with the people of Palestine.
The police did not interfere in the course of the action. None of the embassy staff met with the protesters. -06B--
