The representative of the City Traffic Police (CTP) denies the claims of drivers
Baku / 11.12.17Turan: If the bus drivers believe that the employees of the State Traffic Police (CTP) exceed their official powers with respect to them, then let them apply to the capital administration of the CTP and the complaint will be investigated. This is how Vagif Asadov, the head of the Public Relations Department of the CTP, commented on today's protest action by a group of drivers and bus owners.
It should be reminded that more than 50 drivers and businessmen engaged in bus passenger transportation protested on December 11 in front of the building of the Baku CTP Department.
They complained about the faultiness of the employees of the CTP and unreasonable fees on their part.
At the same time, Asadov, in principle, denied the possibility of exceeding the authority of the CTP by the staff, since "each of them is monitored by technical means". Asadov accused drivers of using the media to justify their actions.
However, he added, if the rules of the road are violated, the quilty should be responsible for this.
Asadov complained that violating drivers "do not like" the employees of the CTP.
"If they believe that there was a violation of the law against them, then let them appeal in written, an investigation will be conducted, the results of which will be presented to the public," Asadov said.-05B06-
