Alakram Gummatov arrived in Yerevan
Yerevan/24.09.13/Turan-Arminfo: On September 24 in Yerevan State University the opening ceremony of the "Talishi Studies" will be held. To participate in this event, Alakram Gummatov - former leader of the self-proclaimed Talysh-Mugan Republic arrived in Yerevan. Now he calls himself Alakram Gummatzoda.
According to Armenian sources, he will meet with representatives of the social and political circles and will visit Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh, where he will deliver lectures.
Recall that in the 1990s Gummatov was convicted in Azerbaijan for the organization of a separatist movement. He was later released on the request of the Council of Europe as a political prisoner and exiled from Azerbaijan to the Netherlands, where he lives in recent years. -02D-
