Ali Hasanov is surprised with the OSCE Minsk Group
The assistant of the President of state, Ali Hasanov, expressed his indignation at the lack of criticism of Armenia because of attacks on civilian settlements in the territory of Azerbaijan. The comments by Hasanov distributed by the pro-government media on Thursday said that the OSCE Minsk Group dealing with the settlement of the Karabakh conflict included in this group of states did not express anything about Armenia’s shelling from heavy weapons the settlements of Azerbaijan and the death of civilians. "The silence of these structures in the current situation gives grounds to say that the international organizations, especially the OSCE Minsk Group efforts directed at ensuring the safety of the separatist regime in Nagorno-Karabakh and war criminals who run them, and to preserve the status quo," Hasanov said. According to him, this is a manifestation of double standards and lack of respect for the people of Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan does not intend to endure the next provocation of the Armenian leadership and the Armed Forces of this country. If the international community continues to remain silent, Azerbaijan will have to take decisive action to protect the civilian population and to put an end to provocations, Hasanov said. -02D-

However, their true goal was to take control of the region, to insert themselves into it, and to push out Russia, as well as Iran and Türkiye, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated at a briefing on November 13.
