An activist of "Musavat" was questioned about her activities on Facebook in the police (updated)
An activist of the party "Musavat" Raymonda Aliyeva was released in the evening from the Khatai police. According to the head of "Musavat" apparatus Gulaga Aslanli, the police interrogated Aliyev in connection with her status on Facebook and publications, with whom she shares in the social network. In particular the claims were associated with the posts on the topic of gas prices increase, and electricity. Aliyev, in turn, said that it does not violate the law and its publication correspond to freedom of expression.
According to Aslanli, today several others were summoned to the police for similar reasons. Aslanli regarded it as the establishment of control by law enforcement agencies for the citizens of activity on social networks, which is a threat to freedom of expression. Musavat Party issued a statement condemning the arrest by the police of the active party member Raymonda Aliyeva. The statement regarded it as a violation of human rights and the continuation of the campaign of pressure on the opposition of the authorities. Musavat demanded the immediate release of Aliyeva.
The press release of Musavat stated that Raymond Aliyeva was summoned on December 2 to the 35th police station, and then taken to the Police Department of Khatai district. After several hours of detention, she was taken by police to her home, where police seized his personal laptop. Then Aliyeva returned to the police office.-0-

Musavat Party issued a statement condemning the arrest by the police of the party’s activist Raymond Aliyev.
