Araz Azimov: part of the cargo will be transported from Afghanistan via Azerbaijan
Until the end of 2014 ISAF forces will leave Afganistan and part of the cargo will be displayed on the transit corridor - through Azerbaijan, journalists were told by Deputy Foreign Minister Araz Azimov.
He recalled that Azerbaijan provides transit of NATO cargo to Afghanistan throughout the international operation.
Transit opportunities of Azerbaijan are enjoyed by members of NATO and partner nations.
However, Azimov noted that Azerbaijan will continue to provide assistance to Afghanistan also after the operation ISAF.
Earlier, Azerbaijan offered to export goods from Afghanistan via the Baku-Kars railway, which will be commissioned in 2014. -03B06-
