Armenia Cancels Visa Regime with EU and Switzerland
Yerevan/10.01.13/Turan-Arminfo: From January 10, Armenia unilaterally canceled the visa regime with the EU. Citizens of the EU member countries were allowed to stay in Armenia without a visa for up to 90 days a year. This also applied to citizens of European countries such as Switzerland, which are not EU members, but are part of the Schengen area.
Armenia became the fourth country after Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova that unilaterally abolished visas for Europeans. -02D-
