Armenian Defense Minister Says Eight Azerbaijani Soldiers Killed
Yerevan / 06/29/17 / Turan: Over the past 10 days, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces lost eight servicemen. Armenian Defense Minister Vigen Sargsyan said this at a press conference in Yerevan on June 29. "According to confirmed data, for 8 days the Azerbaijani side had 8 victims, and according to unconfirmed reports, there are even more of them," the minister said, adding that this was the result of "successful punitive actions" of the Armenian side. He also claimed that the killed Azerbaijani soldiers were not buried and there are no data about them in the Azerbaijani press.
Let us note that earlier the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan refuted the reports of Armenians about the killing of four members of a sabotage group. Whence Sargsyan took the figure of eight killed is not clear. He also did not say where, when, and under what circumstances the Azerbaijani soldiers were killed.
The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has not yet commented on Sargsyan's words. -02D-
