Armenian Foreign Ministry does not believe in military cooperation between Baku and Paris
Baku / 03.07.19 / Turan: Cooperation between France and Azerbaijan in the military-industrial sphere is always in the center of attention of the Armenian side. The press secretary of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Anna Naghdalyan said this on July 3 at a briefing in Yerevan.
Commenting on the publications of the press on the sale of arms by France to Azerbaijan, she said that Yerevan is closely following the situation and raises this issue at bilateral meetings.
She also quoted the president of France Macron, who said on February 5 of this year "France will never sell such weapons to Azerbaijan that can be used in Karabakh".
It should be noted that during the Paris Air Show-2019 arms exhibition, the Ministry of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan and the French arms manufacturer Nexter discussed joint production of armored vehicles, various types of weapons for sea and air platforms, and robotics.
In addition, the Thales Group company intends to establish a joint venture in Azerbaijan for the production of various types of detection and radar systems, as well as a regional service center. -02D-
