Armenian press on the likelihood of concluding a peace treaty with Azerbaijan
Baku/01.25.19/Turan: The Yerevan newspaper "Zhokhovurd" published a conversation with Russian political analyst, chief editor of the Regnum agency Modest Kolerov.
According to him, Armenia and Azerbaijan can sign an agreement on Karabakh in March. Kolerov believes that such a document has long existed; just its final signing will take place in March. At the same time, he did not disclose what the document is and what the source of this information is.
Earlier another Russian political analyst, Stanislav Tarasov, announced the upcoming signing of a peace agreement.
In turn, the representative of the de facto authorities of Karabakh, David Babayan, stated that he did not believe in the existence of such an agreement. At the same time, Babayan was very diplomatic and argued that Azerbaijan is a criminal and an aggressor state, and there is nothing to talk about with this country. This time he said that it is necessary to figure out what lies at the basis of the alleged compromises.
The key issue at this stage is the preservation of peace and stability in the region, and the participation of Karabakh in the negotiations. -02D-
