Armenians attacked Azerbaijan Cultural Center in Paris

Baku/17.06.22/Turan: On June 16, 2022, the presentation of the documentary film “The Path Leading to Karabakh”, prepared by the ERE television channel  was held at the Cultural Center of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Paris, reads a press release by the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora of Azerbaijan.

The film tells how Azerbaijan faced Armenian military aggression 30 years ago, about the First and Second Karabakh wars. The devastation during the period of the Armenian occupation of Azerbaijani territories, the destruction of cities, villages and all infrastructure is shown.

During the ceremony, young men from an Armenian Dashnak organization called FRA Nor Seround attacked the center. As a result, Azerbaijani participant Ayten Muradova suffered.

“It is doubly unfortunate that an unsightly incident occurred in France, which calls into question the rights of Azerbaijanis living in this country.

We express our regret that such an incident occurred in the center of Paris, and we hope that the actions of the instigators of the incident will be assessed in accordance with French laws and international law,” the statement said. -02D-
