Armenians have disrupted the agreement on the opening of the Aghdam-Khankendi– A.Hajizade road
Baku/11.08.23/Turan: An agreement on the use of the Aghdam-Khankendi road for cargo transportation by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and after 24 hours of intensification of passage through the Lachyn road through the ICRC, the efforts of international partners have indeed been reached in recent days. the official representative of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, Ayhan Hajizade said commenting on an article in the Russian edition of Kommersant, which reported on the nomination of such a proposal by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and the achievement of a preliminary agreement between Baku and Khankendi, which, however, was thwarted by the Karabakh separatists.
"On the basis of the proposal of the Azerbaijani side, it was agreed to hold a meeting with representatives of Karabakh Armenians in Yevlakh and in this regard, all logistical issues were summed up," Hajizade further noted. However, despite all these agreements, representatives of the Armenians of the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan disrupted the agreements at the last moment.
"The subversive activities of them and Armenia, which turned this topic into an instrument of political manipulation, once again demonstrated that the opposite side is not interested in peace and stability, as well as in dialogue in this direction. Along with this, the mentioned steps serve to aggravate the situation in the region, once again proving the groundlessness of claims on the humanitarian topic," Hajizade summed up. ---06B---
