Attack on PPFA members in Lerik region
Police officers and representatives of executive power of Lerik region intervene today a meeting of the local branch of the Popular Front Party.
According to Gezal Bayramova, deputy chairman of the Popular Front Party, several cars blocked the entrance to Lerik. Using force, they are bundled into a car Hasan Karimov, deputy chairman of the Popular Front Party, demanding to leave the area.
The attackers were in civilian clothes, and were led by the deputy chairman of the executive power of the region, Jalil Bakhishov.
At the same time, a car of another members of Popular Front Party, Agaseyid Huseynov, was also attacked. Police officers detained a local member of PPFA, Firudin Samedov, who was later released.
Then four cars chased the cars of opposition members that had to return to Baku. This is not the first attack on the activists of Popular Front activists and opposition members in the regions while trying to hold their meetings.
