Baku/24.09.13/Turan : The government stepped up the pressure on young people participating in the election propaganda campaign of a single candidate from the National Council, Jamila Hasanli, and his authorized representatives.
Thus, in many constituencies the portraits of Jamil Hasanli were taken away or spoiled. According to the election office of Hasanli, Vugar Ismailov ,a member of the Supreme Majlis of Tovuz Branch of the Classic Popular Front was arrested on September 23 during the execution of organizational issues in connection with the election campaign. The regional court sanctioned his arrest for seven days.

On the evening of February 5, it was reported that journalist Shahnaz Beylargizi had been arrested. She had been a presenter on the Toplum TV channel for several years. After a criminal case was initiated against the channel in March 2024 and nearly all of its staff were arrested, Beylargizi was questioned multiple times. According to relatives, the police conducted a search of her apartment.
