Azer Gasimov concerned about events in Ferguson
Unavailable for comment, a presidential spokesman Azer Gasimov unexpectedly expressed his attitude to criticism of the official Baku, made on the eve by Jane Psak - a representative of the US State Department. Psak once again criticized Baku for human rights violations and harassment of civil society.
In the comments by Gasimov spread by AzerTAc, he advises Psak to abandon the "biased, hypocritical, unrealistic views, and draw attention to the facts of gross violations of human rights in their country."
In particular, Gasimov is concerned with periodic facts of racial discrimination in the USA, police violence against peaceful demonstrators, torture, and mass arrests. He also pointed out the problems in the United States with the freedom of the media.
In conclusion Gasimov recommended Psak not deny these facts, not to use double standards, and not rely on biased information. —06D--
