The Turkish company Teleport Uydu Hizmetleri seeks the services of Azerkosmos to improve services at Turkish television and radio channels. As stated in the information of the space agency, from this satellite Azerispace-1 teleport many Turkish TV channels will broadcast. So at the frequency of 11015 / H / 30000 will broadcast such TV channels as Azercosmos Promo, Euro D, Euro Star TV, TV 8-int, Show Turk, NTV, Can Azerbaycan TV, Yeni Shop TV, and Canal 12.
In general, by Azerispace-1 broadcast 130 channels, including 13 radio stations in 8 languages, including Azerbaijani, Georgian, Russian, Turkish, Ukrainian, Farsi, Dari and English.
The Azerispace-1 satellite was launched February 9, 2013 from Kourou (French Guiana).
Its total cost is $ 233 million. Of these, $ 121.7 million was spent on the production of the satellite, $ 93.8 million – on the start, $ 17.5 million - on the annual maintenance and insurance costs.
