Azerbaijani citizen Azer Bagirov accused of espionage has been transported from Jordan to Baku
Azerbaijani citizen Azer Bagirov has been brought to criminal responsibility on charges of espionage in favour of foreign intelligence.
By the decision of Sabail district court a measure of restraint in the form of arrest was chosen against him. Bagirov was charged under Article 274 (state treason) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
As it became known from informed sources, Bagirov was detained as a result of operational activities carried out by the State Security Service of Azerbaijan on the territory of Jordan and brought to Baku.
