Russian Foreign Ministry calls “fake” reports about rallies in support of the Russian House in Baku
Misinformation in social networks around the Russian House in Baku is aimed at undermining Russian-Azerbaijani ties. This was reported by the Russian Foreign Ministry on the evening of February 11.
The Foreign Ministry called "disinformation" the campaign in social networks against the Russian House in Baku, aimed at "undermining Russian-Azerbaijani relations".
Thus, false materials with an appeal to Baku residents and to "everyone who appreciates and respects Russian heritage and culture" to take part in a certain "rally in support of the Russian House in Baku" are being circulated online.
"These publications look like an official document of the Russian House, but this is a “fake”.
"We are talking about a purposeful and well-planned provocation. The authors of this fake seek to set the citizens of Azerbaijan against Russia and ignite interethnic discord," the report says.
